Data acquisition modules
With I/O modules of Sielco Elettronica is possible in a simple and economical way to build up a distributed system of accurate and reliable data acquisition. The variables measured are:
1) Temperatures, using PT100 sensors or termocouples directly connected.
2) Linear signals (4-20 mA or 0-10 V) transduced from external sensors.
Some modules have digital outputs whose activation occurs when the analog signal exceeded the thresholds set by the operator.
The installation of the system is greatly facilitated by the possibility of mounting the modules on DIN rail . The screws layout has been designed so as to facilitate the wiring inside the electrical panels. The signalling leds have been positioned so as to facilitate the association with corresponding signals.
Supervision
The protocol used in the supervision of the modules is the MODBUS either RTU or ASCHI . Any commercial SCADA package with Modbus library (eg Visual Basic) can be used for developing applications with modules of SIELCO ELETTRONICA , which can be seen by software as a set of Modbus gates .
All communication parameters and settings are set by dip switches on board , to make it more reliable and faster procedure to activate the system . Modules equipped with alarm outputs can be programmed via the operator alphanumeric panel F1-10 that has been designed to be mounted as a front panel display .
