Counter module with 10 inputs and 8 outputs
The T1_55 has 10 counter inputs (2 of which up to 30 kHz) and 8 digital outputs (PNP 24 V), all optically isolated and with LED status indicator, each input has an associated counter and a frequency detector. An internal watch-dog circuit ensures continuity of operation . The type of interface (RS422 or RS485), communication protocol (Modbus RTU or ASCII) and address (1 to 63) are set through microswitches. The module is suited for mounting on DIN rail.
It is used for applications in field of industrial and civil automation.

Once reached the set position one or more ouputs can be activated with a delay “input-output” of a few microseconds.
The device can be used as a speed measuring device , counting the pulses from an encoder .
In home automation the device is used for the measurement of energy by connecting the outputs of the SO energy meters to the inputs counted by the device centralizing the monitoring function of energy meters . The system is easily expandable via Modbus.
The device can be used implementing the function of “power management”, it measures and automatically disconnects the non-priority electrical loads , avoiding to exceed the contractual power. See Application “AP1_T1_55″.

T1_55 can be connected and controlled from a PC (SCADA Modbus), HMI (F1-600 Panasonic), PLC.via RS485 Modbus.
T1_55 can also be managed locally via the front panel F1-10.
The module ensures the maintenance of counter data in case of absence of the supply voltage for 48 hours , without back up battery.
