The
C1 family (serial converters and repeaters) includes a series of high quality industrial devices that are used in setting up networks based on standards RS232, RS422 and RS485; various models are available: with DC (9-36 Vdc) or AC (90-270 Vac) power, for DIN rail mounting or in a desk version; they can be used as universal converters (from RS232 to RS422 or RS485), dual converters (from RS232 to RS485 with two branches) or signal regenerators (RS422 or RS485). All models can
operate with baud rate from 1.2 to 115 kbit/s and automatically sense the direction of the data flow; the triple optical isolation (both line interfaces and power section) and the possibility to set bias and terminating resistances guarantees the safety of data transmission even if affected by strong interference and noise.
C1 family includes devices connectable to the RS232 COM port
The C2 family includes devices that can be connected directly or via a hub to a USB port.
C2 series requires a VCP (Virtual Com Port ) driver be installed.
After this " microsoft certified driver " is installed , the USB Device is seen by the application programs as a "Com Port " whose n° is automatically assigned by the driver. The family includes 8 products:
